THE CHEVIOT: DEATH`S DOOR
On Bizzle Crags,
a snow slip`s suffocating death.
On Dunsdale`s whitewashed walls,
a shadow on a winter`s day.
This is no place to say goodbye.
On Braydon Crag,
a graveyard for the boys of war.
On blizzard battered Cheviot`s back,
two flyers final fling.
This is no place to die
